A limited number of rooms have been set aside for show participants who make a reservation before June 24, 2016 for the special group rate of $89.00, plus tax. Breakfast will be available for an additional $8.75 if requested at registration. The room rate will also be available to those planning to stay on Saturday night. Show participants should identify themselves as attending the Mississippi Corvette Classic when they make their reservation to ensure that they receive the special room rate and a gift basket at check in.
Mississippi Corvette Club has arranged for a shuttle to operate between the Holiday Inn Trustmark Park Hotel and the Jackson Convention Complex on Friday afternoon, July 15, 2016, between 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. and on Saturday, July 16, 2016, between
7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Show participants can position their cars for display on the show floor of the Convention Complex, which is located at 105 East Pascagoula Street, Jackson, MS 39201, on Friday afternoon and then ride the shuttle, free of charge, to the Holiday Inn and back to the Convention Complex on Saturday morning. The Convention Complex will be locked and a guard will be present from Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. until Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. Corvettes can also be positioned on the show floor on Saturday morning between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Entry to the show floor will be up the ramp and through roll top door at the back of the Convention Complex on Court Street.
Mississippi Corvette Club is hosting a “Dutch treat” dinner at the Holiday Inn Trustmark Park on Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The dinner will be held in the Magnolia and Pecan Rooms and will be cooked to order from the Alumni House Sports Bar & Grill Favorites menu. A cash bar will be set up for the dinner. Several other restaurant options are also available in the area. The Holiday inn is located between the Bass Pro Shop and the Outlets of Mississippi mall. It is also across the street from Trustmark Park where the Mississippi Braves will be playing baseball on both Friday and Saturday nights. We expect that the show judging will be concluded by around 3:00 p.m. Trophies and awards will be presented thereafter.
